In the works for a bit over a month, the inaugural Build Guild was a colossal success. Marc and I went into planning this event without any expectations. We were completely amazed at last night’s turnout.
The event was truly mind-blowing. To list some experiences:
- Met & got to know many awesome & interesting local people
- Discussed having kids with several parents and parents-to-be
- Made grand allusions to Salem & its plethora of front-end developers
- Heard my co-workers described as thought-leaders
It’s fascinating how word had traveled about the event. Everyone had a slightly different story of how they found out about the Build Guild.
With next month’s event already in the works, I’d like to extend gratitude to every person who came and helped make this first Build Guild so awesome.
